In the panorama of Cuban heritage sites, we needed an interior look, that is, to work more and more closely together with the Offices of the Historian and Curator that work with great effort in our country. It was necessary, vital, to create the conditions for this idea to come to life. Learning about ourselves, exchanging our experiences, was a fundamental premise. We were sure that each of our experiences would be enormously enriched by the fertile exchanges.
After ten years of work, the Network of Offices of the Historian and Conservator of the Heritage Sities of Cuba, corroborates the importance of fighting for unity in diversity; because each site, beautiful and unique, constitutes the pride of the nation and this is confirmed by the eloquent images of Julio Larramendi, who has the priviledge of piercing the stone walls with a sharp gaze, listening to the song of the creatures of the mountain and imbricate architecture and landscape in a fruitful dialogue.
